 The airshow billboard. Several were along SH2 from Petone to Masterton. We shared the Go Wairarapa billboard outside Te Papa, too.
David Cowie stands by his Miles Messenger. This British 4 seater is in the colours of General Montgomery's personal aircraft of 1944. It gave a spritely performance; in the strong westerlies of Saturday its STOL capabilities were most evident - an aircraft with the X-factor!
